Who we are

We started out as a custom software house serving small and medium sized businsesses. We developed a number of in house tools and have started to offer them to other developers. We have been developing custom software applications for clients using .NET since 2000.

BugSentry

Developing custom software is a fascinating business, but we were frustrated by our users' unwillingness to report problems. We couldn’t find an application that let us automatically record exceptions on desktop PCs and send the information to us securely. Every solution we looked at was a lot of overhead (running our own issue tracking server) or a lot of money.

We decided to fill this gap.

When we informally polled developers on the idea of automatically submitting issues into a central hosted database, everyone thought the automatic submission was great. Everyone liked the idea of not having to host the database themselves. Nobody liked the idea of trusting someone else with their software defects. We added public key encryption to the system in the summer of 2005 to allay these concerns.

Collaborate Forum

We started looking around for a good forum management application that would 1) work with our existing autnetiocation scheme 2) work with our existing web pages. We couldn't find anything that didn't expect us to reorganize our entire site. So we wrote one.

Collaborate Forum currently powers our support forums. Like BugSentry, we will "dogfood" this application before releasing it. We are considering a tentative beta launch date of Q4 2006.
